Serial Woodbridge Robbers Arrested In Fairfax: Police

Two men were arrested Wednesday for a string of at least seven armed robberies of Woodbridge pedestrians since Sept. 5, say PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Two men are being held without bond after being arrested Wednesday for a string of at least seven armed robberies of pedestrians since Sept. 5, according to Prince William County Police. They were arrested by the U.S. Marshals' Fugitive Task Force at their Fairfax jobs.

  • Demario Odell Jackson, 31, of the 4200 block of Glendale Road, was charged with two counts of robbery, 1 count of conspiracy to commit robbery, 1 count of credit card theft, 3 counts of credit card fraud, 2 counts of attempted credit card fraud, 2 counts of obtaining money by false pretenses and 1 count of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
  • Troy DeWayne Pettiway, 39, of no fixed address, was charged with two counts of robbery, 1 count of conspiracy to commit robbery, 2 counts of credit card fraud, 2 counts of obtaining money was false pretenses and 1 count of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

After the robberies, according to police, they used the victims' credit cards at various businesses in Prince William County. More charges are pending.
