Seven Women Semi-Finalists Including Local Woodbridge Military Spouse Compete for 7-Eleven® Franchise Fee-Free Store

Semi-finalists were recently announced in 7-Eleven’s Women’s Franchise Initiative Competition, including Woodbridge, Virginia’s Bridgette Patterson. One deserving woman will be awarded a 7-Eleven fee-free franchise, a value of up to $190,000, and voting is now open through July 2.

Bridgette, the local semi-finalist shares in her video, that she is a military spouse, who has been
a Family Readiness Group Leader, and assisted military families in dealing with the challenges of military deployment.

Also, Bridgette has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and also with Prince William County Schools’ Military Liaison to connect new military families with resources within the community and schools. She is active at First Mount Zion Baptist Church (Dumfries,Virginia) and is part of its Military Service Member Outreach Group.

Her husband recently returned in January 2017 from deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. He serves in the United States Army and graduated from the United States Military Academy (West Point). They have been married for 12 years and have 3 sons.

7-Eleven also believes in giving back to communities where it does business and will make a donation to the
winner’s charity of choice that aligns with its Project A-Game® program. Project A-Game grants help provide youth a foundation for success by funding programs focused on education, fitness, safety and hunger relief. The donation will be determined by the total number of votes the winner’s video receives
