DALE CITY, VA — A renovation plan to revitalize an old Sheetz location in Dale City received approval from the Prince William Board of County Supervisors Tuesday.

The Sheetz at 4021 Prince William Parkway sought a special use permit to demolish and rebuild the existing building. The rebuilt store will incorporate the new Sheetz interior features and new design of the fuel canopy as well as add a previously approved drive-thru.

The rebuilt Sheetz will have 6,077 square feet of space and six fuel pump islands with 12 fueling positions. The location will continue to operate 24 hours per day.

Neabsco District Supervisor Victor Angry said at Tuesday's meeting that the renovation is part of a larger effort to revitalize his district.

"It's kind of been a long time coming. We knew this from 2023," said Angry. "We had this set, and so now we're finally moving into the phase of actually doing [the] remodel."
