DUMFRIES, VA—One person was seriously injured in a shooting Tuesday afternoon near Williamstown Drive and Old Triangle Road, according to Prince William County Police. Citizens are urged to avoid the area.
The victim was flown to an area hospital. The shooting occurred around 12:40 p.m. No description of the suspect has been released. Area schools have been notified as a precaution. This story will be updated.
