Shooting Suspect Arrested in Woodbridge: Police

Lee O'Neal Dickerson recently was identified, and turned himself in Tuesday to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man wanted in connection with a shooting last month in the 14300 block of Westminster Lane was arrested Tuesday after turning himself in, according to Prince William County Police.

Lee O'Neal Dickerson, 33, of the 14300 block of Westminster Lane, was charged with attempted malicious wounding, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Dickerson allegedly shot a 35-year-old Florida acquaintance Oct. 23 after they became involved in an argument that escalated.

During a struggle, the handgun discharged and hit the victim in the upper body. He survived.

Dickerson was identified as the suspect Nov. 4.
