Shoplifter Creates Mayhem at Potomac Mills in Woodbridge: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man suspected of shoplifting Wednesday morning from Nordstrom's Rack at Potomac Mills threatened an employee with a "tool," fled through the mall, pushed a security guard to the floor and flashed a knife at a loss prevention specialist before fleeing the area, according to Prince William County Police.

When officers arrived, they found him outside the mall and detained him without incident.

Terry Davin Wanzer, 53, of the 3600 block of Felmore Court, was charged with attempted malicious wounding, grand larceny and assault and battery.

He's being held without bond.
