Small Children Left Unattended, Mother Charged in Woodbridge: Police
The mother, 28, had left the children in the running car while she went shopping, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA โ A Woodbridge woman is accused of leaving her two small children in an unattended, unlocked vehicle that was still running, according to Prince William County Police.
Syeda Bartool Jaffari, 28, of the 12800 block of Evansport Place, was charged Thursday with two counts of felony child neglect.
Police say they received a call about child neglect reported in the 14000 block of Worth Avenue. Upon arriving, they found a 1-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy in the aforementioned vehicle.

A short time later, Jaffari returned to the vehicle after shopping in a nearby business.
The children were not injured and were released to the custody of a family member.
