Student Assaults Cop On School Bus In Woodbridge: Police

A disorderly 13-year-old boy on a school bus was arrested Friday after assaulting an officer in Woodbridge: Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A disorderly 13-year-old boy on a school bus was arrested Friday after assaulting an officer in the 4900 block of Prince William Parkway, according to Prince William County Police. No injuries were reported, and the boy is being held at a juvenile detention facility on charges of assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct.

Around 2:30 p.m., police responded to the scene for a report of a disorderly student on the bus. After the arrived and confronted the student, he wouldn't calm and refused to cooperate with police before hitting an officer in the upper body. He was quickly detained and arrested without further incident.
