Update: 2 Students Detained After Reported Gun At Freedom High School
Authorities received a report of a student with a gun at Freedom High School on Monday. No shots were fired and two students were detained.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Freedom High School resumed operations on Monday afternoon after authorities received a report of a student with a gun. The school was originally placed on a lockdown.
The Prince William County Police Department said no shots were fired and no injuries were reported.

Two boys have been detained by police, authorities said. The police department said there would be a continued police presence throughout the afternoon as the investigation continues.
