Students from Chesterbrook Academy® Preschool in Woodbridge Deliver Donation to ACTS for Local Families in Need
Students dropped off funds they raised through a car wash and lemonade stand, as well as donations of children's clothing they collected
On July 20, students from Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Woodbridge delivered a donation to ACTION in Community Through Service (ACTS) in Dumfries. Students hosted a car wash and lemonade stand to raise more than $150 for the organization to help local families in need, and collected three large bins of clothing for children ACTS serves. During the donation delivery, students met with a representative from the organization to learn how their contributions will benefit the community.
ACTS is an independent, private, nonprofit organization serving the residents of the Greater Prince William Area, including the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park. For more information, visit www.actspwc.org.
