Suspect Located in Sexual Assault of 8-Year-Old Girl
Wanted in August incident, man found in Washington, D.C., according to police. He'll be extradited back to Prince William County.
The suspect in the sexual assault of an 8-year-old girl in early August was located in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, according to Prince William County Police.
Christopher Michael Statzer IV, 33, of no fixed address, is charged with aggravated sexual battery, object sexual penetration, and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
Police was first contacted early Aug. 9 regarding accusations that Statzer had taken an acquaintance’s Dodge Ram without permission.

During the investigation, it was found that Statzer was accused of sexually assaulted a 8-year-old girl, a known acquaintance, earlier in the morning while staying at a home in the Triangle area, according to police.
Members of the U.S. Marshals’ Fugitive Task Force arrested Statzer without incident in the 2200 block of 13th St in northeast DC.
