Suspect Wanted In December Woodbridge Assault Arrested: Police
Ralph Edon, who had been wanted on a warrant stemming from a parking lot assault of a woman, was arrested Wednesday at a train station.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man whom Prince William County Police had been seeking since a 38-year-old woman was assaulted in a vehicle in the parking lot of a Woodbridge shopping plaza last month has been arrested and charged in the incident, police said Thursday.
Ralph Edon, 39, was arrested on Wednesday and was charged with aggravated malicious wounding, police said. Police had been unable to located Edon, who was identified by the woman who was assaulted on Dec. 12 in the parking lot of the Marumsco Plaza on Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge, police said.
The woman told police that she was inside the vehicle with an acquaintance, who she identified as Edon, when the two began to argue, police said. During the verbal disagreement, the woman told police that Edon struck her several times before she lost consciousness. When she regained consciousness, the woman was able to get away from Edon and called a family member, who took her to the hospital, police said.
