Suspicious Beating, Robbery in Woodbridge: Police
A 48-year-old man says he was awakened to masked men punching him, then taking money, drugs. Prince William County Police question account.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A Woodbridge resident claims he was awakened at his residence in the 1400 block of Forest Lane around midnight Thursday by two masked intruders beating him and then robbing him of money and drugs, according to Prince William County Police.
The incident, police say, does not appear to be random.
The victim, 48, told police that after being assaulted, he was forced to fork over an undisclosed amount of money, marijuana and other items, whereupon the suspects fled the home, which had a shattered kitchen window.

Police say they noticed inconsistencies in the victim's account, and that he was only able to describe the suspects as black men with large builds.
