Taste of Africa

Join us for a taste of Africa!  We are celebrating the faith, testimony, culture and food of African Americans and Africans, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons), and in the Prince William community. You will enjoy an African country tour, with presentations of cultural dance, dress, and language; African food; a family history workshop focused on African American and African research; a parade of nations; a Mormon “Pioneers in Africa” video; a depiction of missionary service in Africa; a display of Latter Day Saint temples in Africa; a “name that country” game; a display of scriptures in various languages; a wall of testimonies; and a Why I Believe in Jesus Christ fireside.
