Teen Found Chained to Bed, Mother Charged: Police
The victim's bedroom windows were boarded up and the bedroom door had a deadbolt lock to prevented him from leaving, according to police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Officers investigating child neglect allegations on Tuesday say they found a 17-year-old boy chained and roped to his bed, according to Prince William County Police.
Paulette Renee Weston, 40, of the 13500 block of Wood St. in Woodbridge is charged with felony child neglect and abduction.
Abuse investigators arrived at the home at 4:37 p.m. Tuesday in the 15000 block of Wood St. Police say they found the teen's bedroom windows were boarded up and the bedroom door had a deadbolt lock which prevented the victim from exiting the room.

A third party had alerted Child Protective Services to the conditions of the home, according to police.
The victim was not injured and was released to the custody of family members.
