Teen Shot Several Times in Killing Near Woodbridge High: Report

Police putting together a list of suspects. Counselors to be at the school Wednesday.

Prince William County Police is developing a list of suspects in the Monday afternoon fatal shooting of a Woodbridge High student.

Brenden Wilson, 16, was found with gunshot wounds on a wooded path near the high school parking lot at 4:30 p.m. He died at the scene, according to police.

A witness told The Washington Post that he heard multiple shots from his nearby home.

Police say the unidentified suspect fled the scene and got in a waiting pickup truck. The suspects were described as two black makes and one white male. The Post reports that Wilson most likely knew the person who shot him.

Critical incident counselors will be at the school Wednesday to talk with students, according to InsideNova.com.
