Thanksgiving 2016: What's Open, What's Closed in Prince William County
Most county agencies closed Thursday and Friday, with some closing early on Wednesday.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Here are the Thanksgiving holiday closings for Prince William County government offices, Circuit, General District and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Courts, Landfill and Prince William Public Libraries:
- Government Offices: Closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 24 & 25.
- Courts: Circuit, General District and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Courts will close beginning at noon Wednesday, Nov. 23; and will remain closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 24 & 25.
- Landfill: Closed Thursday, Nov. 24.
- Libraries: All libraries will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23 and remain closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 24 & 25. In addition, Neighborhood Libraries (Dale City, Dumfries, Gainesville, Independent Hill, Lake Ridge and Nokesville) will be closed on Saturday, Nov. 26.
