Thanksgiving 2017: What's Open, Closed in Prince William County
Some services in Prince William County are closed on both Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Here's the county schedule.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Here's the Thanksgiving week holiday schedule for Prince William County:
- Government offices and courts are closed Thursday and Friday.
- The Landfill and Balls Ford Road Compost Facility will be closed Thursday but normal operations will resume in both locations on Friday.
- The Police Department, Department of Fire and Rescue, , Public Safety Communications Office (911 Call Center), Homeless Shelter, Juvenile Detention Center, Juvenile Emergency Shelter, Adult Detention Center Community Services Emergency Services Division and Child Protective Services operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
