Thanksgiving Dinner: Restaurants Open In Woodbridge

WOODBRIDGE, VA — If you don't want to cook on Thanksgiving or need a meal in between, making lunch and dinner reservations is still an option in the Woodbridge area — but the option is quickly fading. A handful of restaurants are open but tables are going fast and you may be looking at a reservation waiting list. Here's what we found per OpenTable.com, and if we missed a spot, be sure to let us know in the comments below the story:

If you want a more casual dining experience, check these restaurants. Please note you are encouraged to call ahead and confirm the hours with specific locations.

• Black Angus – Thanksgiving dinner menu ($19.95 for adults, $10.95 for kids under 12). Hours and pricing may vary by locations, and seating is limited. Dinner includes roasted turkey with a variety of sides and pumpkin pie for dessert. See menu.
• Bob Evans — Bob Evans has dinner-for-four family meals. So think of it as a Thanksgiving family meal you don't have to cook. If you do want to eat at home, the restaurant also offers a carry-out Farmhouse Feast that's ready to heat and serve.
• Boston Market – Most locations are open for dine-in, but check hours. The chain is already known for its affordability, but you can save even more on your Thanksgiving visit by joining its VIP club.
• Buca di Beppo – Opens at 11 a.m. and is taking reservations for lunch and dinner. Thanksgiving menu includes special items (white meat turkey, homestyle gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, spicy Italian sausage stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie), as well as Italian dishes.
• Burger King – Only some are open (many are closed), so check your local BK for hours on Thanksgiving.
• Chevy's Fresh Mex – Participating locations will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. In addition to regular menu items, there will be a Thanksgiving menu that includes roasted turkey with mole sauce, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, jalapeno cheddar bread, cranberry sauce and mini pumpkin pie.
• Cracker Barrel – Open regular hours. Also providing Heat n' Serve holiday family meals to take home. Available for pick-up Nov. 21 – 23 (24-hour notice recommended).
• Denny's – Denny's will be open regular hours. And some of its seasonal menu items are very Thanksgiving-friendly.
• Golden Corral – Open and offering a Thanksgiving Day buffet. Call your location to find out its special Thanksgiving hours.
• IHOP – Open, but hours will vary, and many locations will close early. Check your location's Thanksgiving hours.
• Macaroni Grill – If you're dining early, consider the three-course lunch option.
• Maggiano's – Maggiano's is known for its family-style dining and will offer a four-course family-style dinner for Thanksgiving. Price may vary by location. The special Thanksgiving dine-in menu combines traditional Thanksgiving and Italian favorites. Reservations strongly recommended.
• McDonald's – Generally open, but may vary by franchise.
• Mimi's Cafe – Dine-in guests can enjoy a three-course turkey supper (adult meal $18.99, kids' meal $8.99). Includes starters, main course of roasted turkey, various sides and choice of dessert. See the whole menu here.
• Old Country Buffet – Open hours vary by location.
• Ruby Tuesday – Some locations open during regular hours, serving regular menu.
• Sizzler – Participating stores will be open and offering a special Thanksgiving menu with wine selection.
• Starbucks – Open this year as usual, providing a place to stop for your caffeine fix on your way to see family. And, as usual, there are holiday beverages to choose from.
• TGI Fridays -Some locations will be open. No special menu, but, if you want a big meal, TGI Fridays has options like the Fridays Big Ribs for $12.9p.
• Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery – Open at some locations with regular menu.
• Waffle House – Open at some locations with regular menu. Check hours.
• Village Inn – Hours vary, but some are open 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Also, pre-order pies by Nov. 14 for a chance to win free pie for a year.
