On Thursday, April 24, 2014, NOVA Woodbridge will host a The Right to Speak: NOVA Woodbridge's Speech Competition. NOVA students will compete in the following three categories:
1. Informative Speech-- an individual student presenting a message designed to provide new or updated information to the audience members.
2. Persuasive Speech-- an individual student presenting a message designed to change audience members' attitudes, beliefs, or behaviors.
3. Group Infomercial-- a group of 3-5 students who design a product or service (hypothetical or real) and persuade the audience to purchase this product.
The public is invited to attend this event and support NOVA students as they express their voices and share their passions. This event is free of charge.
