#TimesUp for Injustice
When will abuse, harassment, and discrimination come to an end for Women? It's time now.
The #TimesUp movement is a recent hot topic that took over the social media yesterday. This movement was started by Hollywood women as a way to support women in all countries with different careers who have experienced discrimination, harassment, and even abuse.
Since time immemorial, women have been treated unequally across all nations. Women have struggled and continue to struggle to gain their rights. Although times are changing, some people are not. The “Times Up movement” is a wakeup call for everyone to realize that women, just like men are capable, strong, and independent.
Without a doubt, history continues to prove that women are powerful beings and certainly not inferior to men. As an American Muslim women, I am proud to support my fellow sisters and I encourage every woman to stand up for herself because the times up for injustice. It’s now our time to shine.
