Toddler Walks Into Street While Sitter Plays Video Games In Woodbridge: Police

A babysitter playing video games allowed a 22-month-old boy to wander outside and into the street Monday night in Woodbridge: PWC Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A babysitter playing video games allowed a 22-month-old boy to wander outside and into the street Monday night in the 2100 block of Gunsmith Terrace, according to Prince William County Police. Cole Mason Conn, 21, of the 3000 block of Sigel Court in Dumfries, was charged with felony child neglect.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m., police arrived at the scene to investigate a case of reported child neglect. A resident reported the boy was playing in the street unsupervised. Officers searched the neighborhood and found the babysitter inside the child's residence. The child was released to the custody of a family member.
