Traffic Alert: Overturned Vehicle on Cardinal Drive

Patch reader Erika Aloi said Cardinal Drive is closed heading eastbound at Waterway Drive. According to police scanner traffic, the helicopter is about to land near the accident.

If you are trying to take Cardinal Drive home Tuesday, be advised that there is a crash involving an overturned vehicle near Waterway Drive.

Prince William County police made the announcement via their social media on Facebook and Twitter at around 4 p.m. 

The police department said the crash was going to involve a helicopter fly-out for injuries, and that drivers can expect delays along Cardinal Drive.
