Son Fatally Stabbed Parents Before Dying Of Bayonet Wounds Suffered In Fight: Police
Authorities have identified the 3 people who died of stab wounds at a Woodbridge home as a man and his parents; 2 died from bayonet wounds.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — Authorities have identified the three family members who died on Tuesday at a home in Woodbridge. Two of the dead suffered fatal bayonet wounds.
The Prince William County Police Department identified the victims as a 38-year-old man and his parents. The mother, 70-year-old Sandra Reams, died at the home on Tuesday. The father and son, 67-year-old Rodney Reams and 38-year-old Nicholas Reams, died at a nearby hospital.
Investigators are not looking for any additional suspects in the stabbing.

"Nicholas Lee Reams is being considered the primary aggressor in the incident which resulted in the death of his parents," the police department said in a report. "At this time, the incident is considered domestic-related."
Authorities believe Nicholas Reams fatally stabbed his mother during a dispute on Tuesday morning. The dispute continued between Nicholas and Rodney Reams; both men suffered fatal injuries from a bayonet they used in the fight, police said.

The medical examiner conducted autopsies on the three family members on Wednesday.
"It is currently believed the son’s fatal injuries were not self-inflicted and were sustained during the altercation with his father," the police report said. "The father was able to contact police before being transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries."
The police department said more details would be released as necessary.
