Two $50K Powerball Winners in Woodbridge

There are three tickets across the nation that will split a share of the nearly $1.6B Powerball jackpot from Wednesday night.

But two tickets in Woodbridge prove there’s more cash prizes than just the jackpot.

Two 7-Eleven’s, one at 13940 Jefferson Davis Highway and one at 7-Eleven, 15621 Jeff Davis Highway, sold $50,000 tickets in last night’s drawing, according to state lottery officials.

The winning numbers for the jackpot on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016 were:

• 4-8-19-27-34 and the Powerball 10

Two $1 million tickets were sold in Salem and Virginia Beach.

The Virginia Lottery notes that Powerball ticket sales in the state amounted to $34.7 million in profit, all of which will go to K-12 schools.
