Two Children Left in Car Unattended at Wal-Mart
Father charged with cruelty to children, according to Prince William County Police.

Another parent has learned the legal consequences of leaving children unattended in a car.
Milton Javier Rocha-Encinas, 38, of the 13100 block of Hillendale Dr in Woodbridge, is charged with 2 counts of cruelty or injuries to children. He was granted a $3,000 unsecured bond.
At 6:49 p.m. Thursday, Prince William County police responded to the Wal-Mart at 14000 Worth Avenue in Woodbridge regarding child neglect.

Officers arrived and located the vehicle with the children left unattended inside. The children were identified as an 8-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl. Both children were unharmed.
Police say Rocha-Encinas left the children in the car for approximately 40 minutes before leaving the store and returning to the car.
