Two Youths Injured in Brawl at Potomac Mills

Prince William County police: No suspects identified in Saturday night incident.

Two local teenagers were injured Saturday night during a fight that broke out in the entrance of Potomac Mills mall, according to the Prince William County police.

At 8:49 p.m., officers responded to the Woodbridge shopping center after receiving reports of a large fight in progress. As officers assisted mall security personnel in dispersing the large crowd, other smaller fights began to break out in the parking lot and more officers were requested to control the situation, according to a police report.

The two victims, a 17-year-old male juvenile from Woodbridge and a 16-year-old male juvenile from Triangle, were located suffering from non-life threatening injuries, the police report said.

Both reported that they were assaulted by an unknown group of males when the fight broke out, police said. Neither victim was cooperative with police during their investigation, and no suspects could be identified.

As a result of the fights in the parking lot, two vehicles sustained damage estimated at around $250.
