Unknown Males Break Into Woman's Home in Woodbridge: Police

They broke into a rear basement door but fled when officers arrived, according to Prince William County Police. The resident was home alone.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — So, imagine a you're a female home alone when suddenly you hear multiple voices coming from the basement. That's what happened Tuesday night in the 4100 block of Bancroft Lane, according to Prince William County Police.

In this case, though, the intruders ran from the home and all wound up well, save the creepiness.

Shortly after 9 p.m., the homeowner told police about the voices, and when officers arrived, they was three males of an unknown race sprinting away from the residence.

Police say entry had been made by breaking in through a rear door.

A K-9 tried but failed to find the suspects. No property was reported missing.
