Virginia State Police Seek Witnesses To June 14 Hit-And-Run On I-95 Near Quantico

Police say a pedestrian was struck while waiting beside his stopped car on the highway.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA – Virginia State Police are requesting help in solving a pedestrian hit-and-run accident on June 14 near I-95’s Quantico exit.

According to Virginia State Police, they responded to the hit-and-run at 12:33 p.m. on June 14. They say a vehicle was stopped in the highway’s left northbound travel lane because of a crash. The driver of that vehicle was standing on the road when a gray SUV tried to pass his stopped car on the shoulder. The SUV struck the man and left the scene.

The pedestrian was injured, but his injuries were not life-threatening.
