Warrior Games Moving to Quantico Marine Corps Base
Pentagon announces that military athletes to compete at local installation.

An athletic competition featuring U.S. military personnel is moving from Colorado to the Quantico Marine Corps base.
The Pentagon announced Monday that for the first time, it will host the Department of Defense Warrior Games 2015 on June 19-28, according to TV station WUSA-CBS Channel 9. Previously, the annual competition has taken place at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and run by the U.S. Olympic Committee.

The competition is geared toward wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans. About 200 are expected to compete at the Quantico base, representing the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Special Operations Command.
