Wawa Plans To Hire 5,000 Employees

Wawa has announced a massive hiring surge of more than 5,000 new associates at all of its 700-plus stores across six states.

The convenience store/gas station chain has a location at 13355 Minnieville Road and another at 2051 Daniel Stewart Square, off Opitz Boulevard.

The company-wide hiring campaign will span the next three months, seeking to fill full- and part-time customer-service level positions.

Every Wawa location will have job opportunities, and select stores will also host open houses throughout March and April to help applicants learn more about the jobs available.

More than 100 stores will host the open houses and will offer free coffee for those who attend. A sign announcing the dates/time of the open house will be posted at each of the selected stores.

"We’re specifically looking for individuals who want to join our team for the busy summer season and as well those who might be interested in the start of a fulfilling career at Wawa.”
