Weather Alert From Prince William County Public Schools

The Prince William County Public Schools has announced that all after-school and evening activities are canceled for tonight. These include night school, GED and adult education classes.

The School Age Child Care (SACC) and Next Generation programs will close at 5 p.m.

Snow fell across the area Wednesday afternoon. But all schools will continue to operate on a normal schedule for the remainder of the day, the school system said.

The PWCPS statement:

All Prince William County Public Schools divisionwide after-school and evening activities are canceled for tonight. All after-school and evening activities including night school, GED, and adult education classes, are canceled this evening. SACC and the Next Generation programs will close at 5 p.m. School will continue to operate on a normal schedule for the remainder of today.
