Wedding Bells Will Ring in Used Bookstore

Couple chooses 2nd & Charles to host their nuptials: media report.

An engaged couple has chosen an unusual venue for their wedding: a secondhand bookstore in Woodbridge.

The 2nd & Charles store on Prince William Parkway will close its doors to the public on Sunday, June 7, and host a wedding ceremony for two customers, Sadie Purchiaroni and Brandon Shea, according to the Marketwatch website.

The bride-to-be said they chose the store because they’ve spent a lot of time there over the past two years. “We planned our first Valentine’s Day together there, so we could enjoy our favorite pizza at our favorite store while relaxing and taking in the timeless magic it always offers,” Purchiaroni said.

2nd & Charles specializes in trading used books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, video games and other items, But the store’s manager told Marketwatch that it tries to be “a little bit quirky” and active in the community.
