Woman Accused Of Biting Cop, Staff Member At Prince William Fairgrounds: Police
A MD woman was arrested after police said she bit a staff member and an officer during an event at the Prince William County Fairgrounds.
MANASSAS, VA — A 21-year-old woman was arrested after police said she bit a staff member and an officer while being removed from an event at the Prince William County Fairgrounds.
Daira Zuleika Luna, of Bethesda, Maryland, was charged after officers were called to the fairgrounds, located at 10624 Dumfries Road, around 7:40 p.m. on Sunday to a report of a disorderly person, according to Prince William County police.
Police said Luna was intoxicated and acting aggressively toward staff. As staff members escorted her from the venue, she bit one of them, authorities said.

Officers detained Luna, who continued acting aggressively and bit an officer while she was being handcuffed, police said. The officer reported minor injuries.
Luna was charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, assault and battery, public intoxication and trespassing. She was held on a $5,000 secured bond, with a court date pending.
