Woman Assaults Juvenile Son In Woodbridge: Police
A woman is being held without bond after assaulting two family members, including her juvenile son, Saturday in Woodbridge: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A woman is being held without bond after assaulting two family members, including her juvenile son, late Saturday night in the 14000 block of Big Crest Lane, according to Prince William County Police. Angela Jontee Shannon, 39, of the aforementioned address, was charged with one count of strangulation and two counts of domestic assault and battery.
Shortly before midnight, police went to the scene for a reported domestic dispute. They found that Shannon and her son had become involved in an argument that escalated, during she placed him in a choke hold. He broke free and fled before returning with another family, a 61-year old woman.
Another argument ensued, during which Shannon allegedly hit both victims in the face. Police were contacted, Shannon was arrested and the boy was released into the custody of a family member.
