Woman On Drugs Crashes Car With Child Inside In Woodbridge: Cops

A woman high on drugs crashed her car through a fence and caused it to overturn with a child inside Monday in Woodbridge: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A woman high on drugs crashed her car through a fence and caused it to overturn with a child inside Monday in the 12900 block of Ketterman Drive, according to Prince William County Police. Crystal Lauren Williams, 34, of the 13000 block of Ketterman Drive, was charged with child endangerment, driving under the influence, possession of a schedule I or II narcotic and driving on a suspended license.

Shortly before 10 a.m., police arrived at the scene for a reported single-vehicle crash. They found that Williams had been trying to park a 2003 Nissan Altima in a driveway when it suddenly accelerated, crashed through a fence, overturned and landed on its side. The juvenile wasn't harmed and the Williams was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Police searched the vehicle and found PCP and prescription medications. Williams was arrested without incident and is being held without bond.
