Woman Killed While Walking Across Road in Woodbridge: Police
Tabitha Lynn Hackley, 35, was trying to cross Springwoods Drive when she was hit by a truck, according to Prince William County Police.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 35-year-old Woodbridge woman was hit and killed by a truck late Monday night while trying to walk across Springwoods Drive, according to Prince William County Police.
Tabitha Lynn Hackley was taken to a nearby hospital where she died shortly thereafter.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Springwoods Drive and Glenridge Drive to investigate the incident. The driver of a 2005 GMC Envoy was headed north on Springwood Drive approaching Glenridge Drive when he hit the woman.

The driver, 22, of Woodbridge, remained on the scene. Speed, alcohol or drugs don't appear to be factors, and no charges are pending.
