Woman Sexually Assaulted In Woodbridge: Police

A woman was sexually assaulted by an unknown man Wednesday morning in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A woman was sexually assaulted by an unknown man Wednesday morning in the 12200 block of Stevenson Court in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police. He was described as black, between 25-30, 5-10, unshaven, with a heavy build, large stomach, short black afro and an angel wings tattoo on his right arm. He was wearing a white t-shirt, plaid boxers and "Jordan" sneakers.

The woman told police that she returned to the apartment building around 6:05 a.m. and was confronted by an unknown man standing in the enclosed stairwell with a gun. He attempted to sexually assault her, then forced her to the rear of the building and did sexually assault her. He then ordered her to walk into a nearby wooded area before fleeing on foot.

She told a friend about the incident, and the friend contacted police. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
