Woman Sought In Humiliating Assault In Woodbridge: Police

Authorities have identified one of three suspects who left a man hospitalized after robbing and beating him Nov. 3 in Woodbridge: Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Authorities have identified one of three suspects who left a man hospitalized after robbing and beating him Nov. 3 in the area of York Drive and Richmond Avenue, according to Prince William County Police. Brittany Samantha Spann, 23, of no fixed address, is described as black, 5-7, 125 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She's wanted for robbery and malicious wounding.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m., police arrived at the scene for a reported robbery. The victim, 30, said he was walking in the area with a female when they were approached by two unknown men. He was assaulted, had his cell phone taken, as well as his clothes and an undisclosed amount of money. Then the female hopped into a vehicle with the two men and fled. The victim was taken to a local for serious injuries that weren't life threatening.

The victim said he met the female an an area shopping center before going to a home on York Drive. He and the woman became involved in an argument. She left the home and then returned a short time later to retrieve marijuana, after which they left the home and walked to the aforementioned area. No weapons were seen, and the victim was unable to describe his attackers.
