Woman Stabbed In Back By Family Member In Woodbridge: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A woman was hospitalized with serious injuries after being stabbed in the back by a family member last Tuesday at a home in the 3200 block of Birchdale Square, according to Prince William County Police. The family member, Sahar Sayed Mohamed, 33, of the aforementioned address, was later found and charged with malicious wounding.

Around 1:45 p.m., police went to the home for a reported domestic assault. They found that the woman and Mohamed were involved in an argument that escalated. That's when Mohamed stabbed the woman in the back before fleeing the home.
