Woman Strangled In Woodbridge: Police

A was arrested early Sunday after strangling a female acquaintance and preventing her from leaving a residence in Woodbridge: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A was arrested early Sunday after strangling a female acquaintance and preventing her from leaving a residence in the 14300 block of Bowman Court, according to Prince William County Police. Herman Rodney Jackson, Jr., 41, of no fixed address, was charged with strangulation, abduction and domestic assault and battery.

Around 12:30 a.m., police responded to the scene for a reported domestic assault. They found that a 33-year-old woman was involved in an argument with a man that escalated. She said he prevented her from leaving before grabbing her by the neck and then choking her. They eventually separated and police were contacted.
