Woman Strangles Female Acquaintance In Woodbridge: Police

A woman is being held without bond after assaulting and strangling a female acquaintance Wednesday in Woodbridge: PWC Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A woman is being held without bond after assaulting and strangling a female acquaintance Wednesday afternoon in the 16400 block of Regatta Lane in Woodbridge, according to Prince William County Police. Jaleesa Latrice Greene, 27, of the 7000 block of Bray Road in Hayes, was charged with strangulation and domestic assault and battery.

Shortly before 2 p.m., police went to the scene for a reported domestic assault. The victim, 31, said she and Greene were involved in an argument that escalated. She said Greene pushed her to the floor, grabbed her throat and choked her. They eventually separated and police were contacted. Greene was arrested the next day.
