Woodbridge Abduction, Assault Suspect Sought By Police
A Woodbridge man is wanted for abduction, domestic assault, and larceny, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — The Prince William County Police are looking for a man in connection with an abduction and assault that took place in Woodbridge. The suspect, Melvin Romell Sales, is charged with domestic assault and battery, petit larceny, and abduction, according to police.
A woman reported to police she was assaulted on the evening of Feb. 6, according to police reports. The woman said she argued with a man, and when she tried to leave the apartment, the man grabbed her and pushed her into a bedroom.
The man prevented her from leaving the room, and he took her cell phone. The woman was able to leave the apartment on the morning of Feb. 8, where she was able to stay with a friend.

The Prince William County Police Department identified the man as Melvin Sales. The department obtained warrants for his arrest, but they have been unable to locate him.
