Woodbridge Brawl: Six Men Held Without Bond

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Six men are being held without bond following a brawl early Sunday at the Queen's Gambit in the 12730 block of Blacks Forest Lane, according to Prince William County Police. Four of the men were charged with malicious wounding by mob and assault by mob, one was charged with reckless handling of a firearm and one was charged with unlawful entry.

Arrested for the the mob-related charges: Devon Jerome Carter, 31, of the 13400 block of Cloverdale Drive; David Carlo Chery, 34, of the 3500 block of Castle Hill Drive; Lonnie Ray Dawes III, 28, of the 3500 block of Castle Hill Drive and Tarance Terell Fuller, 32, of the 15300 block of Gunsmith Terrace. Charged with reckless handling of a firearm: John Patrick Ford, 49, of the 300 block of Graham Meadow Drive in Charlotte, NC. Charged with unlawful entry: Stanley Allen Singleton, Jr., of the 3800 block of Wagon Wheel Lane.

Around 2 a.m., police responded to the scene for a reported fight. They found that two groups of men on the restaurant's back patio had been engaged in a heated argument that turned violent. At one point, Ford grabbed a gun from his vehicle in the parking lot and fired it into the air. The men continued to fight until police arrived. Shortly thereafter, police responded to a residence in the 4600 block of Montega Drive to investigate a burglary in progress. Turns out the suspect, Singleton, had been involved in the brawl but fled before officers arrived. He forced his way into the residence and then was confronted by the owner at gunpoint. He was arrested without incident.
