Woodbridge Elementary School, Synagogue Receive Bomb Threats

The Prince William County police reported another bomb threat was made in Woodbridge, this time in an email to a school principal.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — The Prince William County Police Department reported another bomb threat was made in Woodbridge. This time, the bomb threat was delivered in an email to a school principal.

On Monday afternoon, police officers went to Kyle Wilson Elementary School at 5710 Liberty Hill Ct. in Woodbridge to investigate the bomb threat. The officers found that that while working at the school, the principal received an email indicating a bomb threat and other violence toward the school.

The Prince William County police said the threat appears to be isolated to the school.

On Monday, the police department reported that a bomb threat was left on the voicemail of the Jewish Temple of Congregation Ner Shalom in Woodbridge last Friday.

A police K-9 searched the area of the synagogue for any bombs but not find any. The police said they are continuing to investigate the bomb threat, although they said it "appears to be isolated to this place of worship."
