The Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) is a leadership and citizenship development program offered in schools that helps students build character, responsibility, discipline, and teamwork skills. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks JROTC Medal is awarded to cadets who demonstrate outstanding leadership, academic achievement, community involvement, patriotism, and a strong commitment to their unit and school.
