Woodbridge Man Accused Of Striking Officer In The Face

A Woodbridge man was arrested Sunday after authorities said he hit a Prince William County sheriff's deputy during a domestic dispute.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A Woodbridge man was arrested Sunday after authorities said he hit a Prince William County sheriff's deputy during a domestic dispute.

Kamaljit Kaur Gill, 34, of Woodbridge is charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer.

Officers were called about 10:19 p.m. Sunday to a residence in the 5600 block of Beachview Creek Drive in Woodbridge for a report of a domestic. As officers were helping the parties to separate for the evening, Gill reportedly grabbed an officer’s arm and struck them in the face.

Authorities said the officer suffered minor injuries.

Gill is being held in a $2,500 unsecured bond.
