Woodbridge Man Admits Secretly Recording Children For Years, Prosecutors Say

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A former federal employee from Woodbridge admitted to secretly recording children inside his home's bathroom for years and possessing thousands of images and videos depicting child sexual abuse, federal prosecutors said.

Jackson Quentin Crocker, 54, of Woodbridge, pleaded guilty Thursday to sexual exploitation of children and possession of child sexual abuse material. Crocker previously worked for the Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration.

According to court documents, Crocker used hidden cameras to secretly record minors in his bathroom starting in at least March 2008. Between 2008 and 2025, he created thousands of videos showing children undressing, using the toilet and showering.

Prosecutors said Crocker also created multiple videos showing himself engaging in sexually explicit conduct next to sleeping children inside his home.

In addition to the recordings he created, Crocker used the internet to collect thousands of images and videos depicting the sexual abuse of minors, including prepubescent children, according to court documents.

Crocker is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 2. He faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years and up to 50 years in federal prison.
