Woodbridge Man Arrested With Stolen Gun At MD Car Rally: Police
A Woodbridge man faces charges after police say he had a stolen handgun in his vehicle following an illegal car rally in Maryland.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 20-year-old Woodbridge man faces charges after police arrested him following the break-up of an illegal car rally last weekend in Prince George's County, Maryland.
On March 13 around 11:30 p.m., Prince George's County police were called to the 14400 block of Cherry Lane in Laurel for a report of a car rally. Officers counted at least 100 vehicles involved and broke it up.
Officers stopped one vehicle, driven by Diego Emmanuel Guerra, 20, of Woodbridge, according to a police news release. During the traffic stop, officers found a loaded firearm in his car, according to police, which had been reported stolen out of Texas.

Guerra has been charged with multiple handgun charges, including possession of a loaded handgun and being in possession of a stolen firearm. He was taken to the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections.
