Woodbridge Man Charged In Stabbing

Prince William County police said the stabbing occurred last week at a home in Woodbridge.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man faces charges after police said he stabbed someone in Woodbridge last week.

Adilson Alexander Baides-Perez, 21, of Woodbridge, was arrested Sunday and charged with aggravated malicious wounding in connection with the Feb. 6 incident, Prince William County police said.

According to police, officers were called to a home in the 13900 block of Richmond Highway in Woodbridge around 11:50 p.m. after receiving a call about a stabbing.

Police said Baides-Perez was involved in an argument with a 53-year-old man when it escalated. During the encounter, police said Baides-Perez stabbed the man in the abdomen.

The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Baides-Perez was arrested following the incident.
